There is an art to driving on ice at night, a certain
amount
of faith required also. The road looks dry, and clear,
but
after weeks of unremitting sub-Arctic temps coupled with
almost daily
blizzards, it stands to reason that appearances
are deceiving. It takes just one time when you need to
touch
your brakes; you are suddenly in that sickening sidewise
slide,
that's letting you know, an off-road accident is
imminent, and all bets are off.
